Quadbits Privacy Policy

This document is a translation of the official Spanish version at Politica de Privacidad de Quadbits and it is only provided to help understand the official version to foreign users. In case of any differences, the content of the Spanish version is the one that applies.

According to what it is established in the Spanish Organic Law 15/1999, on December 13th, of Protection of Data of a Personal Nature, we inform you that the personal data gathered through the web sites that belong to Quadbits S.L.U. (the Web Sites, from this point forward), the applications for mobile devices (the Apps, from this point on) in the catalog of Quadbits S.L.U, registration processes, forms, comments to entries in our blogs, emails, the data derived from the activity of your accounts and any other data that you voluntarily provide to access or use our services, will be incorporated to the USUARIOS file that is properly registered in the Spanish Data Protection Agency, and that it is under the responsibility of Quadbits S.L.U. (hereinafter Quadbits) with social address at c/ Heroe de Sostoa, 69, 9-1, ES-29002, Malaga, Spain.

You (also the User, from this point forward) warrant that the Personal Data provided to Quadbits are true and correct, and that the User is held responsible for communicating any variation in them. In the event that the provided data belonged to a third-party, the User warrants that the third-party has been informed of the contents of this document and that the User has obtained the authorization of all the third-parties to provide their data. When You provide us with these data, You declare that you have read the present Privacy Policy and You are providing an unequivocal an explicit consent to the processing of the data according to the purposes and terms hereby expressed.

Consent for the processing and cession of personal data

When the User fills a form, completes the registration processes, uses any of our Web Sites or any of our Apps, checks or accepts the Privacy Policy, or when the User addresses mail to Quadbits through the addresses provided for that purpose, the User states to have read and explicitly accepted the present Privacy Policy, and the User gives an unequivocal an explicit consent to the processing of the personal data according to the informed purposes and services that Quadbits provides, as well as to the cession of the User's personal data to third-parties in accordance to the present Privacy Policy. If the User does not agree with the contents of these conditions, the User must abstain from sending any personal data to Quadbits, from accessing our Web Sites and from using our Apps by pressing the "Decline" button that appears before initiating their use.

Purposes

The gathering and processing of personal data through the Web Sites and Apps of Quadbits has the following purposes:

• the downloading, installation and use of our Apps and Web Sites, as well as their proper functioning,
• to allow the User access to the services or products offered by Quadbits,
• to attend the requests for information and questions from the User about our services or products,
• the statistical analysis and the obtention of metrics about the use of our products or services,
• to send information to the User through different means about Quadbits, its news, events, activities, contests, offers, promotions, updates, new products and services,

The use of some of the Web Sites or Apps of Quadbits can lead to receiving advertising messages. These messages can be shown on the given App or Web Site as well as through the alert or notification systems of the device or the browser used by the User. In the same way, these communications could reach the User via the contact information provided by forms, registrations processes or any other means. To stop seeing this kind of messages in one of the Web Sites or the Apps, the User must cease to use it, as well as performing an uninstallation in the case of an App. Alternatively, the User can purchase an advertisement free version or a module to remove advertisements when this option is made available.

Our Web Sites and Apps can show advertisements and publicity statements managed by third parties (such as the ones provided through the advertising features of the services of Google Adwords, Google Admob, Google Adsense and Google Analytics by Google) that are personalized according to the information about the User that the third party has as well as the User browsing preferences. Quadbits does not have access to that information about the User and does not control the contents of the advertisements displayed through them. Notwithstanding the foregoing, some ads can be segmented by information available about the User such as geographical location, age group or interests. Underage

Every access and use of the Web Sites and/or the Apps by anyone under 14 years old must be carried out under the direct supervision and consent of their parents, legal guardians or legal representatives, and they will be liable for any action performed by the minor related to the Web Sites and/or Apps.

Security measures

As part of our commitment to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data, we inform you that we have adopted the regulatory measures of technical and organizative nature, that warrant the security of the data of a personal nature and prevent their alteration, loss, unauthorized processing or access, taking into account the state of the technology, the nature of the stored data and the risks that they are exposed to, all of this in compliance with what is established in the Spanish Royal Decree 1720/2007, on December 21th, that approves the implementation regulations of the Spanish Organic Law 15/1999, on December 13th, of Protection of Data of a Personal Nature and other control procedures for the security of the information systems. In spite of what, the User should also be aware that the security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.

Cession

The User knows and accepts that the personal data provided could be made available to third-parties when it is required to fulfil the aforementioned purposes, respecting in all these cases the security measures required for the current laws regarding the protection of personal data as well as the general quality and privacy policies of Quadbits.

To exercise the rights of cancellation and modification, and in compliance with article 16 of the Spanish Organic Law 15/1999, on December 13th, of Protection of Data of a Personal Nature, and the implementation regulations thereof, it is required that you accredit your identity to Quadbits by providing a copy of your personal National Identification Document or by any other legally valid means.

Temporary information files

For the proper functioning and visualization of the Web Sites and the Apps, Quadbits uses temporary information files that the server sends to the computer or the device of the User. You can find more information on this subject in our Cookies Policy.

Social networks

The profiles of Quadbits in the social networks will not lead to any processing of data beyond the options that the social network provides for business profiles. Quadbits can use these profiles to inform the users of each social network that have subscribed to the Quadbits profile about its activities, events, offers, promotions or news in its products or services, as well as to share information of interest about the usual topics of Quadbits. Quadbits will not extract any personally identifiable data of the User from the social network without the consent of the User.

Changes and updates to the Privacy Policy

Quadbits can alter this Privacy Policy to adapt it to new developments in legislation, jurisprudence or in interpretations required by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Such changes will be notified with messages in the Web Sites and the Apps. The User can accept the changes by continuing to use the services. If the new conditions are not accepted, the User must abstain from using the Web Sites and the App and perform an uninstallation of the Apps.

These privacy terms can be complemented by the Legal Notice and Terms of Use, the Cookies Policy and, where appropriate, the General Terms that are established for certain products and services, if its access implies any particularities in terms of the protection of data of a personal nature.
